How We Get Our Vaccination Data

Our COVID-19 vaccination data is manually compiled exclusively from official government sources in near real-time, as new information is released.

For the moment, there's still some variability in where data is released day-to-day. Numbers may be shared in press conferences, interviews, press releases, online government dashboards, situation reports or even through direct correspondence with provincial governments. However, we only report official data that's been directly shared by provincial governments. For distribution data, we rely on both federal reporting by PHAC and data from provincial governments, which is often more up-to-date.
